Sephora is a name mentioned all over the blogging world, and I finally got to visit one of their stores in Italy last week! It really is a makeup lover’s idea of heaven! Sephora’s product range is amazing with so many high end brands to choose from. Unfortunately the Italian Sephora didn’t have as many of the beauty ranges that the US Sephora has, but I still managed to pick up some things that are unavailable in the UK, particularly from their own exclusive Sephora Beauty range. Here are some of the things that I found…
The first item was this pack of 4 eyeshadow brushes that come with a small makeup bag. I’ve been needing some new brushes and these looked ideal. I’ve used them nearly everyday since I bought them and I have to say that the brushes are really great quality and are perfect for blending. In this pack you get a powder brush, a crease shadow brush, a smudge brush and a precision smudge brush – all you need to create an easy smokey eye look.
I don’t think you can ever have too many eyeshadows… so I bought some more. I picked up a pretty purple shade in ‘No.35 Hold Me Tight’ and a subtle golden shimmer in ‘No.77 Hawaiian Beach’. These single eyeshadows are a reasonable size and are actually very pigmented and have good colour pay-off. They weren’t hugely expensive and are definitely worth trying!
I also bought the Sephora hand cream in Cherry Blossom. This product smells amazing and is in the classic striped Sephora packaging. They have so many scents to choose from as well as other moisturisers and creams, it was actually very hard to choose. I am planning on giving these products out to some of my family as gifts from my trip, so that makes a great excuse to go back and get some more.
I finally gave into the hype and bought the Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara. I’ve seen this massively hyped about by other bloggers, and decided to give it a try for myself. I love full and dramatic lashes so this looked perfect. The brush is very thick and catches all of the lashes, and gives them a lot of volume. I’ve been using this since I bought it and love how full it makes my lashes look. No regrets on this one! (A full review will be coming soon).
The next item is this gorgeous pinky red nail polish in the shade ‘Cross the Line’. I picked this up at the till as an impulse buy and am glad I did! It’s a beautiful shade for Summer and looks great with a tan. It’s so glossy and dries quickly which is all you can ask for in a good nail polish. So far it hasn’t chipped after a couple of days which is great.
Overall, I am very happy with my Sephora purchases! I could spend all day there looking through all of their products. Has anyone tried any of the Sephora Beauty range? I’d love to know what people recommend!
