Trying On… Collection

Now and again, you find a brand that is such great quality and so well priced that you just want to try every single product in the range. I’ve found that Collection is one of those brands. The quality is amazing compared to some of its higher end counterparts and some of the products from this range have found their way into my favourites. I’ve narrowed it down to my 3 top picks from Collection – if you want to see why, keep reading…

1. Lasting Perfection Concealer:

This concealer is hands down my favourite concealer which I reach for everyday. It’s cheap in price but not cheap in quality. I have the lightest shade in the range which is a really good match. It’s really good at covering imperfections and blurring blemishes. I often use just this as my base on its own due to its buildable coverage, it’s that good. It’s also bright enough to use under my eyes to cover any dark circles and gives a great smooth finish. This product has been in a few of my favourites posts now and for good reason – it’s so good that I don’t feel the need to try any other higher end concealers when this one does the job so well.

2. Highlight and Sculpt Contour Kit:

This is such a great drugstore contour kit – the colours are great quality and blend in really well. The contour shade is warm but not too orange, while the highlight shade has a slight shimmer that’s not too chunky but still catches the light. I used to use this years ago not only as bronzer and highlighter, but also as eyeshadows. Gotta love a double duty product. If you’re looking for an affordable contour kit and don’t want to spend a tonne of money, I really recommend this.

3. Eyes Uncovered – Nude Bronze Palette:

Collection has a few of these palettes in their range that go from bronze tones to neutral browns. I own the Nude Bronze palette which is my favourite out of them all. The colours are so well pigmented and easy to blend that it shocked me. I thought I recognised some of these shadows, so I pulled out my Urban Decay Naked 1 palette and sure enough, each shade was pretty much an exact dupe. Granted, there are only 6 shades in this palette, but each one is beautiful. If you haven’t seen my 10 Beauty Dupes post, give it a quick read! You might find some good ones that will save you a lot of money. I really recommend this palette for anyone who doesn’t to spend on a high end palette but doesn’t want to compromise on quality.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post on my top picks from Collection. There are so many more great products from this brand that are definitely worth a try. I hope this post has inspired you to try some of them out!

Thanks for reading.
